One of the housemates of the 2019 Big Brother Naija show, Tacha has been disqualified from the show.

She was disqualified for being physically violent towards fellow housemate, Mercy.

Tacha and Mercy had been embroiled a shouting match, which turned physical after Tacha grabbed Mercy’s hair and she, in turn, tried to defend herself with an electric iron.

For her part in the altercation, Mercy got two strikes from Big Brother “for not stepping away from a volatile situation.”

According to the official website of the show, Tacha was accused of losing her temper which led to her pushing, shoving and pulling Mercy’s hair which was considered violence.

Big Brother found her guilty of breaking the House rule of physical violence and intent to harm the moment she shoved Mercy, and the moment she pulled her hair on 2 separate occasions. Biggie deemed that such physical violence has no place in Big Brother’s house.

If you would recall that fitness expert, Kemen was also disqualified from the 2017 edition of the show.

There are just 10 days left in the show.

Meanwhile Nigerias have been reacting to Tacha’s eviction on social media, with the #BBNaija and #Tacha trending on Twitter.

Some fans of the reality show called on Mr. P of P-Square fame to redeem his promise to give Tacha N60 million if she fails to emerge winner.

Other fans posted that Tacha’s disqualification was predictable.

A few other diehard fans of Tacha slammed Big Brother for disqualifying the controversial husemate.

“ No Titan will vote for any housemates . Fuck each and everyone of the housemates _________________ #BBNaija

We are going to support Tacha with our money and not to enrich Biggie”, a tweeter user called Jegede Fam tweeted.

Another tweeter user Pastor Ola said: “My own now is Peter P Square promised Tacha the grand prize if she doesn’t win. That’s 60 Million naira, my mans was probably hoping she’d win”.

For Ugwumma Ejike, he tweeted: “Tacha fans you people shouldn’t be angry oo, I just want to ask how long will it be before you remove that logo of madness from your handles and names? Please civil replies only, no curses abeg”.

Mercy who survived Big Brother’s hammer was seen sharing her fears with her love interest on the show, Ike, that she would have felt like a failure if she was disqualified.

She confessed that she had a bad dream, which she interpreted to mean that she could have been disqualified, if the dream ended in another way.
