Large numbers of supporters of Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, turned up for what they tagged a ‘One Million Man March’ in the nation’s capital on Monday.

According to Facebook User and supporter of the ‘Obidient movement”, Ifeoma C. Dowe, Obi’s supporters marched from the Unity Fountain to the City Gates with many of them expressing happiness to be part of the walk.

Dowe shared pictures and video clips to prove the success of the march on her Facebook handle. “From Unity Fountain, we arrive the National Stadium. Proudly Obidient, go and verify”, she posted on Facebook.

Another Obi supporter FS Yusuf described Saturday’s event as empowering via his @FS_Yusuf_ Twitter handle. “There is never been a more empowering movement. #OBIDIENTS you are making history. #1MillionMarch4PeterObi“, he tweeted.

Sharing pictures from the march and tweeting via @Ekwealor_chike1, yet another supporter Chike Ekwealor asked: “Who can pull this crowd without droping Shi shi and without being present? Only Peter Obi. #OBIDIENTS Brags different”.
