….Adopts Bukola Saraki As Sole Candidate For Residential Election

The North Central Advocacy and Contact Committee, on Monday November 29, 2021, paid an advocacy visit to PDP North Central zonal headquarters in Nasarawa state. It used the visit to address the North Central PDP stakeholders on the need to harmonize and champion the zone’s interest to produce a candidate in the 2023 presidential election.
The group led by its chairman, Prof. (Ambassador) Iyorwuese Hagher to PDP Zonal headquarters, consisted of very powerful delegations, members of which include erstwhile National chairman of the PDP, Alhaji Kawu Baraje; a former secretary to the Kogi State Government, Sen. Ahmadu Ali; Alhaji Nasir Subair, Hon. AbdulRahaman Badamasui, Sen. Solomon Ewuga, Sen. Suleiman Adowkwe, Hon. Mohammed Abdullahi Rico, Hon. Golu Timothy Simon, Rt. Hon. Margaret Icheon, Hon. Mohammed Onawo and a host of others.
The group harped on the strategic importance of the North Central geo-political zone and the need for it to produce the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“We have looked everywhere and considered all factors and found one man who has shown competence in all spheres of life, a man of worthy integrity, a man who has excelled beyond doubts despite all that was thrown at him, a man who has the capacity to deliver on any job given to him. This man is a true son of the North central, he is no one but the former two (2) term governor of Kwara state, a former senator and former President of the 8th Assembly, H.E. Sen. Abubakar Bukola Saraki” the chairman of the group, Prof Ayim stated.
“It is not his making, rather, we the North Central stakeholders have thrown our weight behind him and asked him to run for presidency. We will move from state to state, local government to local government and everywhere in Nigeria to sell his candidacy.
“Bukola Saraki has all it takes to take Nigeria out of its current woes to an enviable height,” the chairman concluded.
While addressing the PDP north central executives, Former National Chairman of the PDP and a strong ally of Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Alhaji Kawu Baraje, stressed that the personality of Dr. Saraki as a man, cuts across the nation.
“Saraki is a detribalized Nigerian, a man who cuts across Nigeria as a northerner and at the same time a southerner. I have not only come to sell the candidacy of Bukola Saraki, I have also come to preach the message of one candidate from the North Central and that person is Sen. Bukola Saraki” Mr Baraje concluded.
While welcoming the PDP North Central, the host of the occasion, the PDP North Central zonal chairman, Hon. Dakas Shan, noted the giant strides of Senator Bukola Saraki while he held-sway as the then governor of Kwara state and the president of the 8th senate and also urged the zone to unite to support one formidable candidate.
