Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, has said about 40 health workers have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
Speaking at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 in Abuja on Thursday, he appealed to medical workers to always protect themselves while giving treatment to patients.
On testing the minister said the centres run by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have a joint capacity of conducting, 1,500 tests a day, but only 800 tests are carried out daily signalling an under utilization.
