The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Iyorchia Ayu, on Friday explained that he collected N100 million from a governor for the renovation of the Peoples Democratic Institute (PDI) which will be commissioned soon.
Governor Nyesom Wike had duiring a live TV interview accused Ayu of corruption, saying aside the N100 million taken from the governor, Ayu also collected N1 billion from a Presidential aspirant in Lagos.
But the PDP National Chairman asked Wike to stop maligning his reputation.
