Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has presented the 2024 Appropriation Bill to five members of the state House of Assembly.
The budget was presented to the five members which have factional Speaker, Edison Ehie as their leader on Wednesday just after the demolition of the House of Assembly complex started.
The 27 members of the House loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, were not present at the presentation of the budget. This group has Martins Amaewhule as Speaker.
The 27 lawmakers dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the All Progressives Congress on Monday.
