Saraki appoints ‘The Earl’ Osaro Onaiwu as Liaison Officer on State Matters

Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has appointed 59-year old Earl Osaro Onaiwu as Liaison Officer to the Senate President on State Matters.

The appointment was announced in a statement issued by the Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) to Senate President, Mr. Yusuph Olaniyonu.

“Onaiwu, an experienced politician and public administrator will help to co-ordinate relationship between the Office of the Senate President and the various state governments across the country”, the statement read.

The Earl, as the Senate President’s new Special Adviser is fondly called  once served as the Director-General of the Nigerian Governors Forum. He also was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in 2016.
