Atiku Dubs Tinubu T-Pain Over Fuel Subsidy Removal

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Left) with PDP Presidential Candidate for the 2023 election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has descended heavily on President Bola Tinubu over his management of the fuel subsidy crisis, referring to him as “TPain” in a tweet on Thursday.

Atiku blamed the current economic challenges in Nigeria onwhat he described as the “haphazard and disingenuous approach” of the Tinubu administration to fuel subsidy management.

“The haphazard and disingenuous approach of the current administration to fuel subsidy management has been the reason we are in this current economic crisis in the country.

“As things stand, there will be no let up in the escalating inflation rate, which is drowning the material well-being of Nigerians. It is even more worrying that T-pain is undisturbed by the hardship in the country,” Atiku posted.

T-pain is a youthful word play with the word ‘pain’ and T the first letter in the President’s surname. The youths use the new name to describe the hardship under President Tinubu.
