Iyabo Ojo, Idris Okuneye (Better Known As Bobrisky), Emeka Oknokwo, better known as E-Money are just a few of Nigerian celebs who have been invited and in the case of Bobrisky jailed without an option of fine for the abuse of the Naira.

The anti-graft agency on Monday announced on its Facebook page, that it is beaming its searchlight on Former militant leader in the Niger Delta, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo, following several videos showing Tompolo being sprayed money during a recent cultural event in his hometown. Omorodion Solomon Samuel called for a repeal of the law criminalising the spraying of the Naira. He wrote: “They should repeal that law, spraying of money is a cultural thing among Nigerians, it gives a special grandeur, vibes and prestige to our occasions , moreover for a currency like Naira which is among one of the world’s worst performing and weakest currencies, people should be able to match it , jump on it, sit on it, until the government is willing to give it Value again”.

Also commenting, Sunny Umanah shared his indifference, saying: ” Leave am, una chairman will just carry phone call his friend Tompolo and beg him to come over to his office make una snap picture and tag “Tompolo honored EFCC invitation to answer some questions”, after that court paper and fine go follow and everything no go last up to 1week.

I love EFCC 👏

Aluya Daniel equally didn’t have good words for EFCC, saying, “Instead of EFCC to fight corruption the organization was formed to fight, they are there doing nonsense. Go to Federal Ministries and other government agencies, corruption flies there every minute. You heard about their budget every year and there’s no single project to show for it. EFCC is no longer useful to the country again. They are there chasing those that sprayed Naira notes. What a misplaced priority”
