R&B singer, Chris Brown breathed the air of freedom on Wednesday after days of being in a UK prison over an assault charge.
The Grammy award winner was released on 5 million-pound ($6.7 million) bail Wednesday while facing allegations of attacking and seriously injuring a music producer with a bottle in a London nightclub in 2023.
The decision by a London judge to grant bail will allow Brown to launch a world tour next month that had been thrown into doubt last week when a district judge in Manchester ordered him into custody after he was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Meanwhile, Chris Brown has spoken out for the first time since being released on bail.
Brown who as recently described at the best entertainer in the world by 50 Cent posted his Instagram Story for the first time on Wednesday, May 21 since being arrested. He wrote, “FROM THE CAGE TO THE STAGE!!! BREEZE BOWL”. Brown was previously held in custody after being charged with grievous bodily harm.
The “Loyal” singer is alleged to have used a bottle to injure music producer Abe Diaw during a night out at London’s Tape nightclub in Mayfair in February 2023. Brown was arrested at the Lowry Hotel, Salford, on May 15 after flying into Manchester Airport as he was getting ready to start rehearsing for his upcoming Breezy Bowl XX 20th anniversary tour.
Judge Tony Baumgartner in Southwark Crown Court said that Brown could go on tour, including several stops in the U.K., but would have to pay the bail to guarantee his court appearance.
Brown, who was not in court for the hearing, was released in the late afternoon from a jail in Salford, outside Manchester, where he had been arrested at a hotel last week.
