The suspected ritualists also harvested the vital organs of their victim, leaving his headless corpse in a pool of blood.

Tuesday’s messy sight came exactly two weeks after another victim, a 60-year old woman, was killed in the same manner, in the same Oghara community, with vital organs harvested for purposes suspected to be ritual.

The sad event of the last event (Tuesday, October 30) happened in the early hours of the day, just exactly as the latest one, who was believed to have been killed before breaking of the day.

When reached for confirmation and comment, the state’s Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Muhammed Mustafa, said the police had already commenced investigation into the development.

“It’s true, someone was killed. Police is on top of the matter. We are working in concert with vigilante and other community security outfits to unravel what really happened and arrest the culprits behind the killing”, Mustafa said.
