Ahmed Musa Redeems N3m Pledge To Flamingos

Captain of Super Eagles Ahmed Musa has redeem his pledge of three million promised Nigeria’s Women’s Under-17 team , better known as Flamingo for their “golden” bronze won at the FIFA under 17 female tournament.

The presentation was made at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Abuka as the team arrived. The jumbo cheque was presented to the players through his aide Dantala Ahmed in the presence of NFF vice president, Chief Felix Anyansi and Secretary general, Alh Sanusi Mohammed.

Recal that Musa promised to give the team 3million naira for taking third at the just concluded FIFA under 17 world cup.

Super Eagles captain who is known for his philanthropy did something similar with the Under -23 Olympic team by donating one million with the promise of N500,000 for each goal scored.
