Constitutional lawyer, Dr. Kayode Ajulo has taken his support for Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo by calling on former military ruler, Gen Mohammed Badamosi Babangoda (retd) to counsel former Lagos State governor Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu to shelve his ambition for Prof. Yemi Osinbajo
Ajulo a former National Secretary of Labour Party gave this advice while reacting to news of Tinubu’s visit to Babangida in Minna this afternoon.
The resected lawyer stressed that IBB should advise Tinubu to emulate his decision to back President Umar Yar’Adua in 2007.
” It should be recalled that President Babangida in 2007 after signifying his interest in running for the office of the President withdrew the bid for President Umoru Yar’adua on the ground that Yar’adua was his younger brother.
“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the political leader of Prof. Osinbajo. In fact, he was a major influence on how the VP got his present position and I am sure he’s proud of his numerous achievements. Asiwaju will do well to throw his weight behind the VP to become the next President”. Ajulo said.
The popular lawyer hasn’t hidden his support for the Vice-President, forming the , Progressive Lawyers For Osinbajo group, even as he has deployed his intellectualism, writing articles in support of the Vice-President.
