The ‘beef’ between Kannywood stars, Ali Nuhu and Adam A. Zango has taken a new domension with Nuhu dragging Zango to court over alleged defamation and assassination of character.
Nuhu one the few Hausa actors to breakthrough in the Lagos axis of Nollywood dragged Zango on Thursday before USC Fagge in Kano state.
According to the court summon obtained by Daily Trust, Zango was invited to appear before the court by 8:30am on Monday 15th April, 2019.
The two Kannywood A-Listers long drawn battle for supremacy divided Kannywood into two factions.
Once Zango posted a picture on his Instagram wall kneeling before Nuhu, saying they both had reconciled.
Rahama had fingered Zango in a sex for role accusation, saying, “Declining Zango’s love advances will not take me down”.
However, she later apologised to Zango, who denied the allegation. Some stakeholders had alleged that said Rahama was the mastermind behind the talented actress’ allegations.
