Alleged Naira Abuse: Cubana Chief Priest Granted N10m Bail

Businessman, Pascal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to the abuse of the Naira charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

While being arraigned in court this morning, Cubana’s counsel, Chukosolo Ojukwu, opposed the charges filed against him at the Federal High Court Lagos.

The popular socialite was later granted bail by Justice Kehind Ogundare to the tune of N10million.

The anti-graft commission filed a three-count charge against Cubana Chief Priest accusing him of abusing the naira at a social event, an act said to be contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.
