Governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party in the just concluded governorship poll in Anambra State, Dr. Obiora Okonwko has congratulated the winner of the election, candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Prof. Charles Soludo.
Okonkwo in a personally signed statement sent to Frontline News Online on Thursday, urged that Soludo provides credible leadership to Ndi Anambra.

CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ELECTIONI heartily congratulate you on your victory in the just concluded Anambra Governorship Election held on November 6, 2021.From our side, we submit to the superior will of the Almighty God because like I always said, God gives power to whom he will.As you know, I went into the governorship race not to satisfy any personal want or make up for any deprivation. My interest was for the greater good of Anambra people, who are disappointed with the failure of government and the dearth of infrastructure over the years. It is my view that our state deserves much more than it has had in governance and resource management.Our people have, for long, been deprived the sweet benefits of purposeful leadership. They suffer the consequences of the mismanagement of their commonwealth and as such, they look forward to a redemptive visionary. While I wish you the best, I pray that the Almighty God will bless you with the strength, wisdom and the right mindset to change the narrative and lead the people of our great state into a new era that will cause an improvement in our human, social and political development index.
