Vocal member of the Senate, Senator Shehu Sani has described the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as the oppressive Egypt, which the oppressed are bent on escaping from.
The lawmaker from Kaduna State tweeted on Thursday morning, that he and others, who have long endured persecution in the APC are at the verge of dumping the party.
However, Sani who has been engaged in a battle of wits with Governor Nasir El-Rufai did not mention the party he is headed to.
“We the persecuted are on Exodus, riding on horses,chariots and caravans, departing Pharaoh Thutmose’s Egypt;we are now at the coast of the Red Sea,about to leave the land of cruelty and injustice”, he tweeted this morning.
