Atlanto’s multi-billion naira market kicks-off in April 2019

Authorities of Atlanto Investment and Property Company has concluded plans for the take-off of operations at the multi-billion naira ultra-modern international market located in Nasarawa State.
Mr. Isaac Alaji, Managing Director/CEO of the company who disclosed this during a stakeholders’ interactive session held at Atlanto Ultra-modern site in Gidan Zaki-Orozo, Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state, explained that the company acquired over nine hectares of land for construction of ‘Build and Own’ Ultra Modern Market’.
To this extent, the company’s management has commenced construction of 1,000 lock-up shops and warehouses at the market site.
He observed that the project on completion will attract over N10 billion worth of investment and provide about 10,000 direct and indirect jobs for Nigerians in various sectors.
He disclosed that the Open Market initiative scheduled to take-off on Saturday, 6th April, 2019 where hundreds of farmers and traders from various States of the Federation are expected to converge.
According to him, all the beneficiaries are to pay mandatory ground rent, Administrative charges, tenement rates and service charges to the company.

He explained that the company had all relevant Title documents and building approvals from Nasarawa state Urban Development Board (NUDB).
Alaji who was represented by Henry Okeme, the Company’s financial advisor allayed stakeholders fears on the hijack of the project by fraudsters, just as he assured that relevant approvals have been procured from relevant authorities.
While displaying copy of the approvals obtained by the company, Okeme explained that the market has come to stay.
The officials also assured participants of flexible payment spanning a period of three years for acquisition of shops and six years payment period for housing units of their choice.
The financial advisor also assured that the master plan would not be altered.
On her part, Omitenwojo Alaji, Director of Administration explained that Atlanto Investment Limited is all out to provide level environment for people living in the neighbourhood, adding that the market is for everybody without discrimination.
“What we are concerned about is to make life better for everybody. As against what is obtainable in the big markets, the cost of acquiring this market is affordable, just as she encourage them to adopt ‘adache’, or monthly contribution,” Alaji urged.
She also noted that the company has structured work plan that will assist in assessing loan facility for the benefits of all.
Alaji also admonished on all the participants not to be discouraged by the current economic downturn, but be determined to see into the promising future.
While applauding the Company’s initiatives, representatives of the farmers living in the neighbouring villages solicited for provision of bridge for easy access to the market.
The participants also requested for the creation of a WhatsApp group for intending subscribers with the view to keep them abreast of the ongoing development.
The group of farmers including: vegetable sellers, fruit sellers, Abatoir dealers/meat sellers, GSM, Computer and other electronic dealers, boutique traders, as well as traders of various goods and services who attended the meeting expressed satisfaction over the work done so far by the company, hence promised to bring all forms of farm produce to the market for sale.
