Kebbi State Government publicly disregards the first wife, Aisha Bagudu, as the First Lady Of Kebbi State.

The Kebbi State Government has allegedly publicly disregarded the first wife of the state Governor, Aisha Bagudu, as the First Lady Of Kebbi State.

The Kebbi State Governor, Atiku Bagudu reportedly has two wives, Hajia Aisha and Dr Zainab who have both been at war over the office of the first lady

According to a report by Daily Trust, Aisha Bagudu was spotted at her daughter’s edible fair and they had reported the news.

Upon sighting this piece of information, the Kebbi State Government through its Instagram handler, disregarded Aisha Bagudu and stated that the press men correct the information as the only official first lady is Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu

It may be recalled that the Governor had difficulty in selecting which one of his wives would be sworn in as the first lady as Hajia Aisha who is the first wife, struggled with the governor when there was nothing and has always been in the fore front of her husband’s campaign to the senate, not minding her limited educational background.

It was gathered that she is familiar with the terrain in Kebbi and the locals( women at the grassroots and mallams in the state) feel at home with her

Meanwhile, it is gathered that Dr Zainab Bagudu relates more with the affluent women in the state. She is a pediatric doctor, based in Abuja, where she owns a diagnostic center. She represented the state during the Ramadan dinner hosted by the first lady, Aisha Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
