Billionaire, Philanthropist, Aminu Dantata Buried In Kano

Wealthy businessman and philanthropists, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has passed away at the age of 94.

His death was confirmed on Saturday by his Personal Private Secretary (PPS), Mustapha Abdullahi Junaid, who expressed his grief in a message shared with the public.

“Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. It is with heavy heart that I announce the passing of our beloved father, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus and forgive his shortcomings. The Janazah details will be shared later, insha Allah,” Junaid wrote.

The funeral prayer (Salatul Janazah) for the late Dantata was held at Umar Bin Khattab Mosque, Gyadi-Gyadi, Kano.

The prayer was led by the Chairman of the Kano Council of Ulama, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, alongside the Commandant General of Kano Hisbah board, Sheikh Ibrahim Daurawa.

The prayer was observed at the Umar bn Khattab mosque, along Zaria Road, Gyadi-gyadi, Kano.

Among attendees at the prayer were the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin and members of Kano Executive council among many other dignitaries from the business community and others.
