
Chants of ‘On your mandate, we shall stand’ rented the air momentarily as the parade progresses after the swearing-in of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the 16th President of Nigeria. The song is a customary one usually sung by Tinubu’s supporters to hail hail wherever he attends public functions.
President Ahmed Tinubu who has been sworn-in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria Justice Olukayode Ariwoola moved round the arena of Eagle Square in his motorcade alongside a convoy as he wavesd hands to a cheering crowd while his biography is being read out to the crowd.

Meanwuile, President Muhammadu Buhari made his exit from the Eagle Square inauguration venue following the swearing-in of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Buhari waved at the crowd as he made his exit. Buhari will be consequently jetting to his home state in Daura, Katsina State.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s swearing-in as President at 10.40am has officially marked the end of the two-term administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari. Tinubu rode to power on the back of a manifesto titled Renewed Hope. Can he really live up to his promises? Nigerians will definitely be watching.
