Senator Shehu Sani on Monday disclosed that he honoured an invitation by the police.
Using his @ShehuSani Twitter handle, the lawmaker from Kaduna State explained that after he wrote his statement, he was granted bail based on personal recognition.
“The Police invited me to appear today by 10:45am.I honored the invitation to the Police Headquarters in Kaduna by 10:45am,with clear conscience.I wrote my statements.I was granted ‘self bail’.I have left” he tweeted .
Replying to Sani’s Tweet Sanyaolu Kazeeem said:”That is how to lead, showing your followers good example. I hope your colleague will learn from your action”.
Another of the lawmaker’s followers Andrew Osamuyi said: “This is how a responsible Senator should behave. You have more reason to be jittery bc of your running battle with the Kad Gov but you took the path of honour”.
