CAN hails Nigeria’s relationship with Israel on 72nd independence anniversary

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN,  has facilitated with the Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Shimon Ben- Shoshan on the occasion of Israel’s 72nd independence anniversary.

The association in a statement signed by  its National Secretary General, Mr. Joseph  Daramola reinstated its “unflinching support to stand with God’s own Nation and people”.

Daramola further stressed that the relationship between Israel and Nigeria in every field had been very good and both countries will always do things diplomatically from one level to a higher level.

“We are very happy to celebrate this year’s independence, we had marvelous relationships with Israel over these years”.

It stated that the state of Israel is the source of Christianity, as such, CAN will continue to partner the country in terms of moral education.

Similarly, the Executive Secretary of the Christians United for Israel prayer outreach Nigeria, CUFI, Reverend Samson Ozovehe in his message prays for a better diplomatic relationship and better mutual benefits between both countries.

He therefore appealed to Christians to comply with scriptural demand not to keep silent or hold their peace for zion’s sake but continue to pray for the Peace of Israel and Nigeria.
