It was a night of classy fun when, award-winning journalist and art aficionado, Vanessa Adie Offiong marked her 40th birthday.
Family, friends and artistes who came to repay the support Vannessa has given the art community over the years , stormed the Heritage Africa Village Square venue of the shindig, that has been described in superlative terms.
Many friends of the celebrant ensured that they kept with
the Great Gatsby theme of the party. But this didn’t stop them from being part of the many moments of fun.
Guests where also treated to the best of wine, champagne, tasty delicacies, even as they were pampered by hostesses of the shindig all through.
Though it wasn’t a formal event, friends and family starting with the celebrant’s elder brother, Denzel, took turns to speak on what makes Vannessa unique, even as they expressed their admiration for her tenacity as a reporter and her warmth as an individual.
