Fuji Music star, K1 De Ultimate has kick started the national convention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) current holding at the famous Eagle Square Abuja.
Despite the sharp divisons and infighting in some of the state chapters of the party, thousands of delegates have arrived the Eagle Square.
Some of the early arrivals among dignitaries include Governor Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State, Senate Majority Leader, Sen. Ahmed Lawan, minister of Interior Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazzau (retd), minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Lai Mohammed, minister of Communications, Adebayo Shitttue, former minister of Science and Technology, Mrs. Paulen Fallen and former lawmakers, Sen. Florence Ita-Giwa, Sen. Khariat Gwadabe and Doris Uboh.
The man touted to take over from Mr. John Oyegun as National Chairman of the APC, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole also made an early entrance into the venue in company of his wife, Lara.
As dignatries and other delegates settled down, various traditional music groups and bands from different states, have enlivened the square drapped in APC’s white, green, red and blue colours.
