A major drama played out on the floor of the Senate on Thursday as the Senator representing Kogi Central, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan , clashed with the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, over what she described as his constant bullying.
As Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan attempted to raise a point of order on a matter of privilege, Akpabio was seen on a viral video, calling on the Senate Whip to immediately announce the Kogi Senator’s suspension. This is even as he asked the personnel of the Sergeant at Arms to escort Senator Natasha out of the Red Chamber. A few senators were also seen trying to calm a visibly angry Senator Natasha down.
Senator Natahsa told the Senate President among other things that, ‘I am not afraid of you’.
