The Department of State Security (DSS) has issued a disclaimer on a former staff member named Barry Donald.
The secret police said in a terse statement shared on its X handle on Wednesday that Donald was dismissed for bad behaviour. This is as it warned members of the public and corporate organizations not to have dealings with the dismissed staff member.
The statement read in part: “The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby alerts members of the public of the activities of one Barry Donald, a dismissed staff. He is reportedly engaging in unscrupulous activities, including using the name of the Service to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
“Members of the public are therefore advised to desist from any dealings with him. For requests, enquiries or complaints the Service can be reached on 09088373515 or via email: [email protected]”.
