#EdoDecides2024: APC leads PDP, LP Across 17 LGs So far

According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the 2024 Edo State governorship elections at the collation centre in Benin City, the state capital on Sunday, APC’s Monday Okpebholo has defeated Peoples Democratic Party’s Asue Ighodalo and Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata.

These results, as approved by the Independent National Electoral Commission, are computed for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, Monday Okpebholo; the Peoples Democratic Party’s Asue Ighodalo, and the Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata.

The results are for 17 out of the 18 Local Government Areas of the state, as the remaining LG is yet to be collated.

Hence, the collation exercise has been temporarily put on hold.
