Former Defence Minister, Olu Agunloye, Declared Wanted By EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared former minister for Defence, Olu Agunloye wanted.

The anti-graft agency shared its wanted announcement on its Facebook handle on Tuesday, saying the 75 year old former minister is wanted for forgery and corruption.

The EFCC asked the public for useful information on the ex-minister’s whereabouts.

Recall that Agunloye who also served as Minister For Power, And Steel, rejected allegations that he mismanaged the Mambilla power project.

He described the allegation as ‘baseless, false, and malicious’ in a statement on Sunday, saying the allegation by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, was nothing to write home about.

Recall also that Obasanjo had accused Agunloye of mismanaging the project during his tenure from 1999 to 2003.
