Governor of Sokoto State, Mr. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has directed the termination of the appointment of all Special Assistants from the service of the state numbering about 252.
According to the Director-General, Media and Public Affairs to the Governor, Abubakar Shekara, this is to enable the appointees engage in partisan activities without ethical or moral dilemmas.
Tambuwal, who recently defected to the Peoples Democratic Party and is speculated to have plans to contest for the party’s presidential ticket, thanked his former aides, for their service to the state and wished them success in their future undertakings.
