Governors, Ministers, Others Attend Sani Dangote’s Burial In Kano

Nigeria’s powerbrokers converged in Kano on Wednesday for the burial of the younger brother of Africa’s richest man, Sani Dangote, who died in US on Sunday.

Dangote was buried at a cemetery located at No.92 Sarari quarters in Kano, on Wednesday morning.

His body arrived in Nigeria from USA on Wednesday morning.

The Chief Imam of Kano Emir’s palace, Sani Muhammad, led the prayer session at Kofar Kudu, Emir’s palace, Kano.

The funeral service witnessed a host dignitaries.

Notable among them were Kashim shettima of Borno, former Bauchi state governor, Adamu Mu’azu, Borno state Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, THISDAY Publisher, Nduka Obaigbena; Chairman, BUA Group, Abdussamad Isiyaka Rabiu.

Other are Director General, DSS, Yusuf Magaji Bichi; Senate President Ahmad Lawan; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, among others.

Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika represented the Federal Executive Council.

Mallam Tijjani Bala Kalarawi, who led the burial session, prayed for the deceased soul while admonishing other Muslim faithful to be observant of good deeds while they still live on earth.
