Parts of the the Kogi State House of Assembly complex have been gutted by fire.
Specifically the Chambers and Gallery of the assembly is most affected.
The cause of the fire outbreak which occurred on Monday morning is yet to be ascertained.
Prince Mathew Kolawole, Speaker of the assembly, told journalists that security agencies would investigate the incident.
