David Lyon, governor-elect ofย Bayelsa state, is currently meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja.
Mohammed Badaru, governor of Jigawa state and chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship campaign in Bayelsa,ย accompanied him to the meeting.
Atiku Bagudu, governor of Kebbi state Timipre Sylva, minister of state for petroleum, are also attending the meeting.
Lyon won the November 16 governorship election in the state with 352,550 while Duoye Diri, hisย Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rival, trailed withย 143,172 votes.
