In a bid to safeguard the lives of staff and members of the public, the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has commenced the routine decontamination of the NDIC head office building.
The exercise which began on Monday 22nd June 2020 will last till Wednesday 24th June 2020 because of the size of the building and to enable the chemicals used for the decontamination to wear out completely and ensure a conducive working environment for staff, therefore, the office will be opened on Monday 29th June, 2020.
In a statement made available to newsmen and signed by the Director, Communications and Public Affairs Department, Dr. Sunday Oluyemi, members of staff have been directed to remain at home and work remotely for the duration of the exercise.
The last decontamination of the building was in April, 2020.
