Nigeria is to receive Madagascar’s COVID19 cure drug known as “COVID ORGANICS”
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID19 and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha stated this at the daily briefing of the task force in Abuja.
The SGF said the Republic of Madagascar offered the herbal drug which is for the prevention and cure of Coronavirus to Nigeria and other African countries.
He said the drug, which is in a consignment has been sent to Equatorial Guinea from where it will be airlifted to Abuja.
He however noted that President Muhammadu Buhari had duelly instructed him to ensure that the “COVID ORGANICS” was validated before it’s use in Nigeria.
The drug which has been critised by some Western countries has however proven effective in the East African country with no case of death as a result of COVID19.
