The Obi of Onitsha, His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe, has visited The Dome Entertainment boss, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo over his mother’s death.
The revered monarch visited the wealthy investor his Ogidi residence.
A post on the official page of the Abuja based businessman shows that Dr. Okonkwo received His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Alfred Ugochukwu Achebe (Obi of Onitsha), and His Royal Majesty Alexander Onyido (Ezechuamagha of Ogidi) on Tuesday.
“Suffice to say, a rare account has occurred in Ogidi. Yes, according to the tradition and culture of Ndi Igbo and Onitsha in particular, Obi of Onitsha does not go out on condolence visitations. But owing to Igwe Achebe’s closeness with Dikeora, such that has the umbilical resemblance of the unity cord, the Igwe had to break protocol and visit his friend – Dikeora Idemili in his Ogidi residence.
