Nigerian First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu has celebrated the honorary doctorate degree bestowed on her by the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife.
The First Lady is an alumnus of the school.
She took to her official Facebook handle to celebrate.
“Today, during my conferment with an Honorary Doctorate of Public Administration by the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun state, I was reminded of the importance of national unity and love for country.
“As I addressed the gathering, I urged everyone to be ambassadors of Nigeria, nurturing our environment and working towards a brighter future for generations to come” she shared in a post.
“I also announced my commitment to giving back to my alma mater, rallying support to provide campus shuttle buses and endowing four prizes for outstanding students.
“Let us continue to dream big and never forget our love for this great nation”. she added.
