“On the 5th day of June 2018, news reports have it that Chief Odigie Oyegun held a confutative inauguration of APC State executives in Abuja,Nigeria.

“With a pending motion for injunction in Kwara State High Court and numerous pending court judgements on APC state crises in over ten states, the action of Chief Odigie Oyegun amounts to a blatant violation of the APC Constitution, Congress guidelines and all other relevant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We outrightly reject Balogun Fulani as chairman of APC.

“It must be noted that our congress which produced Rev Bunmi-Olusona led executive was well attended by members of our party and organized in line with all relevant laws of the All Progressive Congress.

“Our congress enjoyed wider acceptability amongst our teeming members who are opposed to the impunity that had festered for too long within the Kwara State chapter of APC.

“With every sense of significance, our members and loyalists should note that we remain determined like the rock of Gibraltar, and we won’t accept this injustice. And we are working very closely with our lawyers as we have a pending motion to be heard on 11 June,2018.

“We remain members of the APC, and Rev- Bunmi Olusona is our chairman”.
