About 10 people including children are still trapped under the rubbles of the collapsed building in Abuja.
One person has been reported dead.
The National Emergency Management Agency, Fire service, Nigeria security and civil defense corps are said to have arrived the scene.
According to an eye witness, Jide Oyekunle posted on Facebook, that some of survivors have been communicating with rescuers.
“Many of the victims are still communicating with their phones under the rubbles, but the only escalator being used is too small”, Oyekunle stated on his Facebook page.
