
The Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH), on Monday hosted the Health Humanitarian Dialogue
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who was represented at the event by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation commended the FMOH for her pioneering role in humanitarian interventions especially in the North-East. According to him, the health ministry deserves commendation for establishing the largest public sector response of its kind.
He also commended the technical team headed by Dr Ngozi Azodoh.
On his part, the minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole called for the establishment of a Humanitarian Peace Garden in Nigeria.
Also at the event, all those who lost their lives were remembered in a special candlelight commemoration.
Many partners including staff of the World Health Organisation (WHO) also participated in the walk.
