The late chief of army staff (CAOS) Taoreed Lagbaja has been buried.
Lagbaja was buried on Friday at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
Funeral proceedings began on Thursday with a service of songs at the army headquarters garrison parade ground, Mogadishu cantonment, Abuja.
A funeral service was held on Friday morning at the National Christian Centre.
Lagbaja was appointed COAS by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, 2023.
