On Wednesday night, The Oriental restaurant at the Transcorp Hilton hosted some of Abuja’s finest food bloggers as a pre-event to the formal opening of the exclusive eatery. The Oriental will be formally opened next Wednesday.
Despite being a casual gathering for Asian food lovers and enthusiastic food bloggers to have taste of what The Oriental has to offer, General Manager of the Transcorp Hilton, Mr. Etienne Gailliez and the Public Relations/Marketing Manager, Mr. Shola Adeyemo, where on hand to receive guests.
Without much ado, Chef Pedre led his team to presenting guests what Afro Sushi feels like. Also on the menu were favorites like Miso Soup and Udon. Well selected white and red wine added to what many agreed was an enjoyable night.
Despite not being so easy to impress, some of the bloggers who spoke with Frontline News Online scored, The Orient high on food, service and value.
