The pragmatic member representing the good people of Okigwe South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rep. Chike Okafor, has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma on the affirmation of his election victory by the Supreme Court.
Okafor who was physically present at the court, with other great Imo sons and daughters, from the beginning of the Court proceedings, to the end, to witness the Justices of the Apex Court deliver the landmark, unanimous judgement, expressed happiness that the judgement has confirmed the notion that the judiciary remains the fortress of the society.
He opined that Governor has shown capacity, tenacity and prudence in governance, which is evidenced in the massive transformation currently witnessed in all aspect of governance, adding that the State is now on the path of unstoppable development.
The lawmaker further noted that, with the Supreme Court verdict which affirmed the victory of Gov Uzodimma during the Nov 11, 2023, Imo Governorship election, all hands must be on deck towards achieving a State of “our collective dream, under the 3-R mantra of the shared prosperity government, ably championed by Gov Hope Uzodimma.”
