The president of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on Wednesday met with former Head of State, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida (retd).
Both men met behind closed doors at Babangida’s home.
There hasn’t been a formal statement on the issues discussed by the Senate President and the former leader, but Saraki shared a photo taken at Babangida’s residence on Twitter.
“Dropped in to pay my respects to General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida. Always happy to be with a father and leader”, Saraki said in a tweet.
The Senate President’s visit comes hours after he addressed a press conference on the invasion of the National Assembly complex by DSS operatives.
