Veteran actor, Pete Edochie and his wife, Josephine, on Saturday celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary.
Edochie who is celebrated for his iconic portrayal of Okonkwo in Chinua Achebe’s ‘Things Fall Appart”, shared pictures from the celebration on his Instagram page.
The actor known for his conservative views on marriage complimented his wife, saying him and her have remained one over the years.
He said, “53 years of marital bliss with my queen, Chief Barrister Mrs Josephine Edochie. Thanks to my children for hosting us to the biggest party of our lifetime, yes our life because we are one.
“In celebration of our 53 years of marriage and Life in goodness and in good health.
“These past 53 years, God blessed us with six biological children (among all the inherited ones and numerous grand-children).”
