Senator representing Kogi West, Dino Melaye has condoled with an Editor with Leadership Newspapers, Bode Gbadebo over the death of his wife, Janet.
Melaye in a condolence message to the journalist described the death of his wife as shocking and saddening.
Mrs Gbadebo died in a private hospital in Lagos after a brief illness.
“With heavy heart and shock, I received the ugly news of the painful departure of your dearest wife Mrs Gbadebo.
“It’s most saddening, painful and unfortunate to hear the sudden demise of your beloved wife, after a brief illness whom I learnt died at a private hospital in Lagos State.
“Death is an inevitable end of all mortals, I therefore joined millions of Nigerians to sympathise with you and share in your feelings. This quite devastating and sad.
“Our solace and consolation is in God who is the giver and taker of life. May God almighty grant the entire bereaved Bode Gbadebo family and the management of Leadership Newspaper, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss of the departed,” he said.
The late Janet will be buried in Ogbomoso on Monday by 12 noon.
