As the 2019 general elections draws near, aspirants seeking re-election into political office have been enjoined to present their scorecard to the electorate for scrutiny
before the polls.

A former Governorship candidate in Edo State, Mr. Osaro Onaiwu, who made the call in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday, noted that it is important for public office holders to be accountable for their stewardship to their constituents.

He also asked those seeking pubkic office for the first time, to also present a detailed plan on how they intend to better the living standard of the electorate.

Onaiwu, also popularly known as  ‘Solution’, further stated the need for the electorate to research the background of those seeking to occupy political offices- thier family, business and politics, as it would help voters choose responsible persons over hyped personalities who aren’t prepared to lead.

The former Director-General of Nigeria’s Governors’ Forum however urged all Nigerians to ensure they duly register and collect their Permanent Voters’ Card (PVC) so as not to be disenfranchised.
