Tinubu Rejigs Ministers, Moves Oyetola To Blue Economy Ministry, Redeploys Momoh To Niger-Delta Ministry

President Bola Tinubu has carried our minor changes to the portfolios of ministers.

According to State House release signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu approved the redeployment of Engr. Abubakar Momoh from the Federal Ministry of Youth to the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta Development.

The Federal Ministry of Youth is to be re-assigned to a Minister-Designate soon, the statement read.

The Ministers-Designate assigned to the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Interior, and Marine & Blue Economy were reshuffled as follows: Adegboyega Oyetola was redeployed as the Honourable Minister for Marine & Blue Economy.

This is while Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo was redeployed as the Honourable Minister of Interior

On his part, Hon. Sa’idu Alkali is reassigned as the Minister for Transportation

Furthermore, both Ministers of State in the Oil & Gas sector are now domiciled in the Federal Ministry of Petroleum Resources with the following designations: Sen. Heineken Lokpobiri is the Hon. Minister of State (Oil), Petroleum Resources, Hon. Ekperipe Ekpo is the Hon. Minister of State (Gas), Petroleum Resources.

According to Ngelale, the President equally approved the renaming of the Federal Ministry of Environment and Ecological Management as the Federal Ministry of Environment.
