Today, my heart holds a space for an extraordinary man I was privileged to know and learn from, my late boss, His Excellency, Ambassador Deinde Fernandez. He was more than a boss; he was a rare gem, a compassionate mentor, and a person whose love for humanity shone brightly in everything he did.
He didn’t just build careers; he built people. He saw potential where others saw challenges and offered a helping hand and wise counsel at every turn. His kindness was infectious, his guidance invaluable. He taught me not just about work, but about life, integrity, and genuine connection.
His departure left a profound impact, especially when his unique perspective felt so crucial. But the legacy of his kindness, his wisdom, and the countless lives he positively shaped continues to live on. I’m truly blessed to have worked with him. May your soul continue to rest in the Lord, Amen. You’re deeply cherished and eternally missed.
