The Ogidi, Anambra state residence of Chairman United Nigeria Airlines, Dr. Obiora Okonkwo, played host to a large number of women who the wealthy business man reached out to as part of the christmas celebrations.
Thursday December 23, 2021 saw many women attend the annual Dikeora Widows and Women’s Day.
The event which opened with prayers for good health, longevity and prosperity of all by Catholic priests saw hundreds of women taken over every available space in his expansive country home.
The women sang, danced and showered praises on Okonkwo fondly called by his traditional title, Dikeora, for remembering during another Christmas.
As has become tradition, Dikeora ensured that all the women who attended his Christmas get together for less privileged women went home with gifts including a bag of rice and wrappers.
